Intercollegiate Specialty Examinations (FRCS) - Regulation Change The Joint Committee on Intercollegiate Examinations has now implemented new Regulations. These Regulations will apply to all examinations from 1st January 2012 and will be known as the January 2012 Regulations.
Computer Based Testing (CBT) for Section 1 Examinations The JCIE has now completed one year of CBT for the Section 1 examinations. Candidates sit Section 1 at Pearson VUE Test Centres throughout the UK and Ireland. Feedback from this candidate led initiative remains supportive but continues to be monitored. ISB & JCIE >> The Joint Committee on Intercollegiate Examinations (JCIE) reports to the four Surgical Royal Colleges of UK & Ireland for the professional conduct of the Intercollegiate Specialty Examinations (FRCS (Specialty)).
