January 2012 Regulation revision: After due consideration the number of attempts at Section 2 of the examination has been increased from 3 to 4. Candidates will have a maximum of 4 attempts and up to one further exceptional attempt (on the basis of providing positive educational evidence) with no re-entry. A time limit of up to a maximum of 7 years to complete the examination process has also been set. The January 2012 Regulations have therefore been revised accordingly ( view here ).
Computer Based Testing (CBT) for Section 1 Examinations: As a reflection of our commitment to simplifying the booking process, you are no longer required to book your own test centre. When you receive formal eligibility/or resit confirmation for the Section 1 examination, the Secretariat will, at that time, instruct Pearson VUE to book you into the centre you selected at the time of application. This revised process is effective now and will apply to all Section 1 CBT examinations from June 2012 onwards. To find your nearest Test Centre click here . Click here to familiarise yourself with the test delivery application interface. (Macintosh not supported). An online screen tutorial shown to candidates prior to the examination can also be viewed here .
Survey Monkey Questionnaires: We thank all candidates who have fed back via our Survey Monkey questionnaires. The returns from the surveys have been relatively low. We would encourage you all to do your level best to take just a few minutes to complete these important surveys.
